Horizontal baler is one kind of industrial recycling machine, widely applied to bale waste paper, plastic bottles, beverage cans, straw, waste tires, waste paper boxes, aluminum cans, cardboard, waste clothes & shoes, wool, cotton, etc. This scrap baler machine is your solution to transform bulky, low-value scrap into dense, uniform, and highly profitable, mill-ready bales.
Compared with the vertical baler, the horizontal baling press machine has a larger capacity, stronger pressing force, and higher production output. No matter which kinds of balers, Shuliy machinery supports customization services according to your requirements.
Our High-Density Closed-End Horizontal Baler Series
We specialize in robust, closed-end channel balers—the preferred choice for operations requiring superior bale density and multi-material flexibility. These hydraulic balers provide the immense power of a large-scale industrial baler in a reliable, semi-automatic manual-tie package.
Select the model tailored to your throughput needs:
| Mfano | Ram Force (Pressure) | Capacity (Throughput) | Bale Weight (Est. OCC) | Key Application |
| SL-120 | 120 Tons | 25-30 t/day | 0.7-0.8 t/bale | Mid-capacity, varied waste paper streams |
| SL-160 | 160 Tons | 5-8 t/h | 1.0-1.3 t/bale | High-volume baling for logistics and distribution |
| SL-180 | 180 Tons | 4-8 t/h | 0.5-1.0 t/bale | Ultimate density for difficult materials like PET bottles and tires |
Why Our Baling Press Machines are the Smarter Investment?
When comparing baling equipment, total cost of ownership matters. Our design focuses on two critical factors: maximum operational efficiency and minimal long-term expense.
1. Unmatched Energy Efficiency: Save 33%
Our advanced hydraulic circuit is not just powerful—it’s remarkably efficient. Utilizing a dual high-low pressure pump system with imported components, this design ensures you get full 180T force while reducing power consumption by up to 33% compared to older-generation balers. That’s a massive saving, directly boosting your bottom line.
2. Superior Bale Quality for Higher Profits
Our closed-end horizontal baler design compresses material against a solid door, ensuring every bale is rock-solid and dimensionally uniform. Achieving densities of ≥ 450 kg/m³ means your finished product is maximized for mill value and minimum freight cost.
3. Built for the Grind: Industrial Reliability
Durability is not an option; it’s a standard feature. Each recycling baler is constructed with heavy-gauge structural steel. High-wear areas, particularly within the compression chamber, are fitted with replaceable, abrasion-resistant liners to ensure longevity and minimal maintenance downtime. The robust build quality guarantees years of dependable service in any demanding industrial environment.
Working Principle of Shuliy Waste Balers
The hydraulic baler consists of a feeding conveyor, feed hopper, PLC control panel, a discharging pulley, a hydraulic cylinder, etc. The operation of our horizontal baler is streamlined for maximum efficiency:
- Feeding: Material is continuously fed, often via a standard-issue conveyor, into the generously sized hopper.
- Compression Cycle: The PLC system initiates the automatic cycle. The main hydraulic ram drives the press head horizontally. It pushes the material into the baling chamber with extreme force, compacting it against the closed retention door.
- Bale Completion: This cyclical, horizontal compression continues until the dense bale reaches the pre-set length.
- Tying & Ejection: The operator manually secures the finished bale using the five-wire system. Once tied, the chamber door is opened, and the ram automatically extends to eject the perfectly formed, high-density bale.
Comprehensive Material Versatility
From lightweight plastic film to heavy scrap aluminum, our horizontal balers handle them all. The power and structure are designed to process the most challenging materials, ensuring you only need one machine for diverse waste management needs.
| Processed Materials | Common Sources & Applications |
| Paper & Cardboard | OCC (Old Corrugated Cardboard), Office Paper, Waste Paper |
| Plastics | PET Bottles, HDPE, Plastic Film, Rigid Containers |
| Fibers | Waste Tires, Straw, Hay, Used Clothing & Textiles |
| Light Metals | Aluminum Cans, Tin Cans, Lightweight Scrap |
Additionally, we also have scrap metal balers specifically designed for heavy metal packaging.
